Experience
Evaluating startups and building tools
I created methodologies, data and tools for a new VC to evaluate startups on investment, developing tools using modern frontend techstacks including Next.js, AISDK, and Supabase. I designed, concepted and directed the new website together with Andrew Encharm & Yuri Artiukh (WebGL Development) and Granite MENA (Frontend) at continuous.vc, while evaluating startups from a UX/UI and Frontend position to create comprehensive reviews and statistical evaluations with suggestions to improve UX and strategic positioning of the startups.


Creating a digital UI library, style guide, and token system
I created various designs for B2B and B2C applications in Digital Asset Management (DAM) for Vaillant, identifying weaknesses in the existing design system and establishing the need for comprehensive structuring. I implemented tokenization of variables, established design principles, and consolidated similar components for system optimization. I documented the design system and created theoretical foundations using tools including Figma, Miro, and Frontify.

Leading one of the largest agencies in Germany
I led a local team of designers and developers, managing five branches in different cities both remotely and in person for pitches and important presentations. I provided creative direction and created key designs while managing a team of 50+ designers and developers across multiple locations. I continue to advise the agency from time to time on complex design decisions.

Conceptualization and Development of a Banking App (8 months)
I conceptualized and redesigned the Barclays app with a focus on Buy-Now-Pay-Later, leading the design for the new Barclays app to acquire new customers and generate profits through financing models. I developed a new digital design system in Figma based on the UK Brand Manual with customization options for the website, analyzing the existing app and company goals to create UX concepts, prototypes, wireframes, and user flows in Figma.

UX Design for DKB (6 months)
I conducted a DKB campaign to attract new customers in various life situations including beginners, life founders, and families, using smart clustering to create dynamic landing pages tailored specifically to user groups based on user journeys and the marketing funnel. I designed UX for the new funnel model of DKB, conducting competitor analysis and creating personas with appropriate user flows, while developing wireframes and red routes.
Governikus (6 months)
As Lead Designer, I was responsible for the comprehensive redesign and restructuring of the existing website, clustering the wide product portfolio of Governikus and implementing corresponding branding measures to optimally present the products. I created inclusive designs according to WCAG guidelines while developing UX concepts, prototypes, wireframes, and user flows in Figma.

Julius Baer Landing Page (6 months)
As Lead Designer for the investment campaign, I developed a dynamic and highly interactive landing page for the "How To Invest" campaign to present the topic of investment in an interesting way for end consumers. I used design animations to illustrate the concept before actual development, implementing GSAP intro and interaction animations during programming and providing code snippets to create a story-driven landing page.

Lead design for the interactive Oil Selector (6 months)
I developed the KIA Oil Selector, a tool to promote the sale of KIA house oil products, dividing the process into several steps with animation to make it lively. I created vehicle selection via a slider or dropdown menu to establish a stronger emotional and personal bond, representing the vehicle driving through a wind tunnel and being "scanned." I developed an intelligent animation system that allows flexible animation of the vehicle through the use of 2 images (chassis + tires) and code.

Lead design for the digital brand guide (6 months)
I developed the OBI Brand Guide, an international web tool for managing CI assets (Corporate Identity), creating various user flows and an appropriate navigation concept for the project. I created animations in After Effects to explain complex topics visually and facilitate understanding regardless of language barriers, designing a special download center with a clustering function and developing an international portal for OBI's CI assets.

Contracted Art Director, UI & UX Designer for a small boutique design studio
I led a small local team of designers, winning multiple awards and pitches including Universal-Music-Group while leading the agency on both large and small projects.


Lead design for the website universal-music.de (18 months)
I achieved a successful pitch win through conception and design, creating wireframes in Adobe Photoshop and developing a new modular, flexible, and adaptable design system for three different sites and styles including Deutsche Grammophon, Decca Classics, and Universal Music.
Lead design for a modular, white-label, enterprise feedback management platform (12 months)
I developed a platform that can flexibly adapt to any brand and need, creating a special modular toolkit and design system in Photoshop with prototypes in Invision. I conceptualized a new flexible and customizable product called "Portals" for Questback, designing customizable components for both the platform and the user as a white-label solution using an atomic design system. I created user flows, wireframes, and final designs based on real client requirements.
Design Conception AI Image Recognition Platform (6 months)
As Lead Designer for a Japanese AI platform, I worked with Ikkyotech on major AI systems for identifying features in images since 2013, creating clear and understandable presentations of complex structures for investors and clients. I used animations with After Effects for visualization, developing branding and UX design while creating designs and animations to visualize complex technical abstractions into understandable graphics and animations.
